Chemically Activated Materials (CAM) 2017 Conference


The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) is hosting the Third International Conference on Chemically Activated Materials (CAM 2017) on the Gold Coast, Queensland from 8-13 August 2017.

The conference offers leading presentations on geopolymer concretes, featuring recent developments in geopolymers and other chemically-activated, environmentally friendly construction materials.

CAM 2017 is jointly hosted by USQ, Hunan University (China), and The University of Queensland, and powered by the Queensland Chinese Association of Scientists and Engineers, Inc. Prof Caijun Shi of Hunan University, Prof John Provis of The University of Sheffield, UK, and Prof Wenhui Duan of Monash University, Australia are the co-chairs of this conference.

More than 150 delegates are expected to attend the three-day main conference (August 9-11) at the Gold Coast Mantra Legends venue. The delegates will also be visiting the local industry and research facilities on August 12 and 13.
