To reliably reduce plant emissions below the required limits, Austria’s CTP designed and supplied two innovative air pollution control systems to Opterra Zement’s Karsdorf cement plant in Germany. This new low-dust, selective catalytic reduction (LD-SCR) technology is the first of its kind in the world, capable of lowering NOx (< 200 mg/Nm3) and NH3 (< 30 mg/Nm3) below required emissions limits, as well as being flexible enough to allow future upgrades to meet even stricter emission restrictions.
CTP will present its project at the forthcoming Cemtech Europe 2019.
