UltraTech Cement - May 2013

UltraTech Cement is among five cement companies being ordered to pay INR6bn (US$109m) in fees while they await their appeal against allegations of price fixing. The fees, imposed by an Indian court on 17 May 2013, represent 10 per cent of the INR60bn (US$1.1bn) fine brought by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) last year.
