PT Indocement - May 2019

PT Indocement’s revenue increased by 8.5 per cent YoY to IDR3732bn (US$257m) in the opening quarter of 2019. EBITDA over the same period advanced by 25.9 per cent from IDR560.1bn to IDR705.2bn. The EBITDA margin expanded from 16.3 to 18.9 per cent on the back of an eight per cent increase in the selling price, two per cent uptick in volumes and a 5.6 per cent decline in fuel and power costs per tonne, according to the company.

Over the three-month period, total sales volumes expanded from 4.43Mt in 1Q18 to 4.53Mt in 1Q19 with domestic sales improving by 1.7 per cent YoY to 4.49Mt and export sales advancing by 254.6 per cent YoY to 43,200t.
