Cement prices are to be increased by INR5-10 with immediate effect, according to Binani Cement, on account of rising input costs.
Prices in Central, North & Eastern regions are to increase by INR10/bag while Gujarat will see an increase of INR5/bag and Mumbai (West) is expected to see a hike of INR10/bag. Prices in the south will remain firm with no increases announced.
Meanwhile, demand has picked up sharply in the Central region and Gujarat.
