India’s Shree Cement receives sustainability accolade
Shree Cement has been recognised as a ’New Sustainability Champion’ by World Economic Forum (WEF), Switzerland.
Shree Cement, the leading producer of cement in north India, is the only company from the global cement and core sector and one of only three Indian companies to be recognised with this distinction.
The WEF, in association with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), during their study had screened 1000 companies from emerging economies, identifying 16 New Sustainability Champions. Their study was shared at the Summer Davos Summit held in Dalian, China in September.
