Roanoke Cement Company terminal sites in Winston-Salem and Castle Hayne will be honored as part of the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program. Roanoke Cement Company is a subsidiary of Titan America, the cement corporation currently eyeing New Hanover County as a potential site for a new plant.
Both the Winstom-Salem and Castle Haynes sites have been recognized by the NCDOL before for safety performance.
