Gujarat Ambuja seeks 200,000t S.Africa coal
Indian cement maker Gujarat Ambuja is seeking 200,000t of South African coal for late 4Q shipment, Indian traders said.
Indian cement makers such as Ultratech and Gujarat Ambuja have issued frequent and regular buying tenders this year for South African coal.
Cement demand in India has been stable despite a fall in the pace of construction from last year’s levels. South Africa has been the cheapest coal origin for Indian buyers for the past several months. Published under Cement News
