According to Al-Ahram newspaper, Mr. Ashraf Ezzdein, Head of the Egyptian Commercial Office in New York, said that the volume of Egypt’s cement exports to the USA fell by 28% in 2007 compared with 2006.

Exports have also declined by 38% in the first 10 months of 2008 compared with the same period last year.
