DJ Taiwan Cement to raise prices By 8-10 per cent from July

Taiwan Cement Corp will raise cement prices by 8-10 per cent from July to reflect increasing costs, the Apple Daily reported Monday, citing Taiwan Cement Vice-President Edward Hwang. Taiwan Cement plans to increase prices by TW$200-TW$250/t to TW$2700 to TW$2750 /t, according to the Chinese-language paper.

Asia Cement Corp, a member of Far Eastern Group, also plans to increase prices by 6-10 per cent, the paper said, citing an anonymous official at Asia Cement.
