Yantai Mainly Exports Cement to Angola, USA and Spain
Yantai City in Shandong Province exported 748,000t of cement to Angola in the first ten months of the year, rising by 2.2 times year-on-year, according to statistics from Yantai Customs. Exports to the USA stood at 622,000t, down by 20.7% YoY, while exports to Spain increased by 66.7% to 608,000t. Starting on July 1st, 2007, China further strengthened the control of cement exports and abolished the cement export rebates. Due to this, Yantai City’s cement exports dropped by 5.1% between July and October. Published under Cement News
