Don’t compromise on cement quality
02 October 2007

Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn Bhd (CIS) has been urged to not compromise on
the quality of cement supplied by the plant while overcoming the cement
shortage in the State.

The call was made by the Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia (ACEM)
Sabah branch and the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) Sabah branch
during a dialogue session with CIS last Friday at the Sepanggar Industrial
Estate in Menggatal, near here.

During the dialogue, representatives from both associations met with CIS
General Manager, Robert Chung, and discussed the quality issue of the cement
supplied locally as well as the efforts by CIS to normalise the cement
supply situation.
