Hebei’s Cement Export Price Soars in H1
The average cement export price reached US$ 42/t in the first half of 2007 in Hebei Province, up 26.4% year-on-year, and US$ 9/t higher than the national average export price, according to statistics released by Shijiazhuang Customs. Due to the increase in export cost, cement was mainly exported to markets with high prices, such as the USA and South Korea. By comparison, there were no export to markets with relatively low prices, such as Nigeria and Iran.
