Egyptian Sinai Cement Company (SCC) has exported 600,000t of cement since the beginning of 2006 to European and African countries such as Italy, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Sudan and the region of West Africa, CEO Adil Abd-al-Karim said.

SCC’s net profit jumped to E£147.3m in the first half of 2006 from E£65.5m (US$11.4m) in the year-ago period.
