Cement sales stable despite crisis
25 July 2006

Despite the problems which surfaced earlier this year at Caribbean Cement Company, sales figures have not been significantly affected. Minister of State in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce Kern Spencer says the sale of cement for the first half of 2006 was on par with figures for the corresponding period last year. Mr Spencer says cement sales between January and up to July 9 totalled 458,000t which was only two per cent less compared to last year when the figure stood at 469,000t. Published under Cement News
