The import price of clinker  experienced a modest increase of 5 per cent in the first six months of this year, reaching US$30 per tonne, says the Vietnam Cement Corporation.  
 
The country last month consumed about 2.6Mt of cement, lifting the total quantity of cement sold in the first half of this year up to 16Mt.
