Sverdlovskaya Cement, Yekateringberg, will start two new production lines of cement. They will be in Sukhoi Log town, said Wolfgang Bauer, director of the German concern Dyckerhoff AG. That means rise of cement output by 2.6Mta. The project needs capital investments, approximately US$150m.

As governor of the Sverdlovskaya oblast Eduard Rossel says, works on erection of new producing capacities should begin as soon as possible. One of the consumers of the cement besides the domestic regions - Chelyabinskaya, Orenburgskaya, Tyumenskaya oblasts, Bashkortostan, Udmuriya - will be Kazakhstan.
