First consignment of cement, under duty-free regime, arrived at the Karachi port on Monday. The vessel, named F Kala, carrying 26,800t cement from Chinese port of Zheng Jiang, arrived at 0300 hours at East Wharf Berths No 1 and 2 of Karachi Port.

The port officials had made arrangements for bagging the cement, which would take 10 to 12 days to completely discharge the cargo.
