A Bangladeshi cement company, Marbra, has exported its cement to Burma for the construction of Nasaka buildings being built around Maungdaw Township. A cargo boat, called MV Aow Thinascl, was loaded with about 2800 cement sacks on 2 May and was sent to Burma; its cargo is to be used in the construction of Nasaka outpost No - 12 under Nasaka area No (5) Nga Khura village, north of Maungdaw.

Since Burmese authority is now constructing a number of Nasaka strongholds and buildings along its border, the Burmese authority has imported cement from Bangladesh to use in construction. The company is exporting its cement to Burma under the border trade agreement.
