Iran’s cement production increasing
Cement production in Iran will total 36Mt in the current Iranian year (ends March 20, 2007). Some 2.5Mt was added to the country’s cement production capacity last year as two new cement plants came on stream in Yazd and Kashan. Further increase is also expected as a new unit is added to the Fars-Khuzestan cement group.
