Holcim, one of the leading cement manufacturers in Bangladesh has recently signed an agreement with Defoin for supplying cement to build an industrial project at Savar, Dhaka. Zafar Iqbal Siddiqui, managing director of Defoin and Jasim Uddin Khandaker, deputy general manager Customer Care of Holcim (Bangladesh) Ltd signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides at Holcim’s corporate office in Dhaka.

This industrial building will have total 6 floors with 28000 SFT space in each floor. Holcim cement will exclusively be used to construct this industrial building. Besides this industrial building, Defoin has two more industrial projects at Mirpur and Kanchpur, Dhaka.

It may be mentioned here that with the supply of Cement, Holcim also provides possible technical services during construction. Holcim is the only cement company of the country, who has 24 hours Mobile Concrete Laboratory Service facility for its customers. "Exclusive large users of our cement can get services of Mobile Concrete Laboratory at free of charge and our said services include cement.”
