In October, Ukranian cement production rose by 17.3 per cent compared with October 2004, to 1,229,000t, the State Statistics Committee has disclosed. However, cement production fell by 6.8 per cent to 1,229,000t compared with September.   As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in September cement production rose by 17.0 per cent compared with September 2004, to 1,318,000t.   In 2004, cement production rose by 19.3 per cent or 1,719,000t compared with 2003, to 10,635,000t.  More than 15 enterprises produce cement in Ukraine, and their total annual capacity is more than 20Mt.
