Mexican cement exports to the United States should be tax-free, National Chamber of Cement (Canacem) Adviser Rodolfo Cruz Miramontes said. Indeed, the official stated the 10 per cent customs duties reduction proposed by the United States is insufficient.  The US Trade Department had earlier announced in August a preliminary decision for reducing customs duties set to Cementos Mexicanos’ (Cemex) exports from 54.97 to 40.54 per cent.  Published under Cement News
