Holcim Maroc starts grinding upgrade

The Moroccan Minister of Industry, Trade and Economic Restructuring, Salah Eddine Mezouar, officially inaugurated on July 18, 2005 the capacity extension works at the grinding unit of cement company Holcim Maroc S.A. in Nador, northwestern Morocco.  The extension project consists in setting up an additional grinding facility with a capacity of 60tph. The aim of the move is to raise Nador unit’s production capacity to 600,000tpa. The project required credits of some 54 mln Moroccan dirhams (US$5.9m). Published under Cement News
