Cement Demand in Saudi Arabia
15 March 2005

Cement demand in Saudi Arabia is expected to increase by up to 80 per cent in the next few years, compared to its current levels, according to unofficial sources from the country’s construction sector, local media reported on March 13, 2005.  The forecast is based on the current boom in the Kingdom’s construction and real estate sector. At present, cement on the local market retails at some 230 Saudi riyals ($61.33) per tonne.  Published under Cement News
