Ssangyong Cement Industrial Co said Thursday that its net profit plunged 56.42 per cent on-year to 83.2 billion won (US$81.04m) in 2004. Operating profit also sank 47.23 per cent to 123.3 billion won, with sales falling 7.28 per cent to 1.18 trillion won, the company said in a regulatory filing. Ssangyong Cement Industrial is South Korea’s largest cement producer.
