Russian production makes steady gains

According to Eurocement, Russian cement production reached 45.6Mt in 2004, an increase of 11.3 per cent from the figure reported in in 2003.
Eurocement Group made more than 9.6Mt of cement in 2004, an increase of 13 per cent from the figure reported in the same period 2003. It accounts for 21 per cent of output in this segment of the market market. In 2003 41Mt of cement was produced in Russia, Eurocement Group press service reported.
