The UAE Cement Contractors Union welcomed the decision to cut cement import duties, announced recently by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defence. Dr Ahmed Saif Belhasa, chairman of the UAE Cement Contractors Association, said the moved would benefit developers, construction contractors and, ultimately, consumers.
