Kuwaiti cement trader Kuwait Portland Cement Company posted a net profit of US$5.6m for the first quarter of 2004, down from US$12.1m  in the same period of 2003. Earnings per share fell to US$0.078 in the first three months of 2004 from US$0.17 in the corresponding period of 2003. Published under Cement News
