Anhui Conch building cement production lines in Xuzhou

Anhui Conch Cement Co. Ltd. one of China’s largest cement makers, has started a project of two cement production lines in Xuzhou City with Xuzhou Municipal Government of Jiangsu Province. The total investment of the project is CNY 1.8 billion (USD 1 = CNY 8.2771). The daily output of cement clinkers of each production line will reach 10,000t. The annual output will amount to 6.2Mt after the project is completed. It will be the largest cement manufacturing base in China.  The first phase of the project is a production line with the daily capacity of 10,000 tons of cement clinkers and the investment of CNY 990 million. It will be put into production in June 2004 with the annual output of 3.1Mt.
