Vietnam production rises 4.6%, Jan-Apr 2013

Cement production in Vietnam is estimated to have reached 17.9Mt of cement in the first four months of this year, up 4.6 per cent from a year earlier, the General Statistics Office (GSO) said.

In April, the country’s cement output is likely to rise by 8.5 per cent YoY to 5.4Mt, the GSO said in its monthly report.

The government-run office revised up the country’s cement output in the first quarter of this year to 12.5Mt from the earlier estimate of 12.4Mt.
