Polish January output and sales jump

Poland's cement production totalled 521,100t in January 2014, up by 34.4 per cent YoY, according to data from the country's cement producers association, SPC.

Cement sales jumped to 553,300t, marking an increase of 35.7 per cent YoY.

For the 12 months to December 2013, cement output declined by 7.5 per cent to 14.45Mt, while sales dropped by 7.6 per cent to 14.62Mt.
