Lipetskcement reports 8.8% rise in output, Russia

Lipetskcement, part of the Eurocement group, produced 81,420t of cement in the first two months of this year, 8.8 per cent more than the same period of 2013.

In February 2014 alone, output increased by five per cent YoY to 44,000t. 

Half of the overall volume of produced cement in February 2014 consisted of the high-strength plain cement CEM I 42.5N.

Clinker production amounted to 80,000t, and increase of 3.3 per cent from February 2013. Over the first two months of 2014, clinker output totaled 185,000t,, up by 24 per cent compared to the comparative period of last year.
