Vietnam is estimated to have produced 5.5Mt of cement in May, up four per cent from April and 9.8 per cent from a year ago, according to data from the government’s General Statistics Office (GSO) said.??
In the five-month period, the country’s cement output is likely to have increased by 5.4 per cent YoY to 24.2Mt, the office said in a monthly report.
The GSO revised down the country’s cement output in April to 5.3Mt from the previous estimate of 6Mt.??In 2013, Vietnam’s cement output hit 56.84Mt.
