Colombian cement consumption rose seven per cent to 1,161,601t in October, according to the latest figures by DANE, the country’s statistics office. Production increased 12.8 per cent YoY from 1,072,942t in October 2014 to 1,210,370t in October 2015.

In the Jan-Oct period, domestic cement consumption increased 6.9 per cent to 10.632Mt. Output during the first 10 months has advanced 6.4 per cent to 10.839Mt.
