Construction of Semen Indonesia's Rembang cement plant in Central Java, Indonesia, is set to be completed by August 2016, local news agency ANTARA has reported.
"We are optimistic that the construction of the Rembang cement plant would be completed in August 2016. In fact, the existing equipment is already capable of starting to process the cement," according to Semen Indonesia's Rembang Project Manager Ari Wardhana.
Earlier this month, PT Semen Indonesia CEO Suparni, stated that the state-owned cement producer has set a target to increase its production capacity to 30Mta in 2016 from the projected 28.5Mta this year.
