Vietnam produced 10.8Mt of cement in the first two months of this year, rising 15.8 per cent from a year earlier, the government-run General Statistics Office said.
In February the country’s cement output rose 26.6 per cent YoY to 4.8Mt.
The Ministry of Construction forecasts that Vietnam’s sales of cement and clinker will rise 4-7 per cent YoY to between 75-77Mt in 2016.
