Vietnamese cement producers sold an estimated 59.27Mt of cement in the first nine months of this year, according to the country’s Ministry of Construction. This represents a six per cent YoY rise and 74 per cent of its 2017 target.
Around 45.28Mt of cement were sold in the domestic market, which expanded by four per cent YoY. Some 13.99Mt were exported.
In September, domestic sales remained stable YoY at 5.2Mt with exports reported to reach 1.45Mt.
