Cement production in Pakistan rises 12% in 7MFY18

Cement production in Pakistan recorded 12.1 per cent growth YoY during the first seven months of the current financial year. The country produced 23.77Mt of cement throughout July 2017-January 2018, compared to 21.2Mt of the year-ago period. 

In January 2018 alone, production increased 23.5 per cent YoY to 3.64Mt (2017: 2.95Mt), according to the Business Recorder.
