Ukraine’s cement producers increased their production by 12.9 per cent YoY in May, reports the Ukrainian News Agency.

Output reached 1,024,000t and when compared to April, this represents a rise of 42.2 per cent. In April cement production reached 720,000t, a decrease of 12.5 per cent YoY.

However, in the first five months of 2018, cement production fell 6.2 per cent YoY to 2.985Mt.

In 2017 cement production edged up by 2.3 per cent YoY to 9.307Mt.
