CIMAF reported a 42 per cent rise in cement sales to 184,723t in Gabon during the first half of 2018, according to the Economic and Fiscal Policy unit of Gabon’s Economics Ministry. In January-June 2017, sales reached 130,077t.
The company’s production volumes increased 37.7 per cent in the six-month period to 178,518t, up from 129,596t in 6M17.
As a results, revenues were up 36.6 per cent YoY to XAF13.029bn (US$22.8m) in 6M18 from XAF9.537bn in the year-ago period.
