GICA has carried out a further shipment of clinker to Côte d’Ivoire, according to Samir Setiti, president and CEO of GICA subsidiary Sodismac. A consignment of 15,000t of clinker, produced in GICA’s Beni Safi (Aïn Témouchent) works, has left the port of Ghaza.

Since May 2018 GICA has carried out around 15 export shipments from various Algerian ports. More than 0.5Mt of clinker have been shipped to Europe while at present west Africa is a key export market for the company.
