Ukrainian cement output up 27% in May

Cement production in Ukraine in May 2019 increased by 27.1 per cent YoY to 747,000t, according to the Ukrainian State Statistics Service. When compared with the previous month, cement output fell eight per cent.

In the first five months of 2019, total cement production in the country advanced by 3.4 per cent to 3,086,000t when compared with the 5M18.

In 2018 cement output declined by one per cent to 8.926Mt when compared with 2017.
