Cement dispatches in Colombia increased 7.8 per cent YoY to 1.094Mt in November 2025 from 1.016Mt in November 2024, according to the national statistics office, DANE. Bulk deliveries increased by 2.8 per cent YoY while bagged cement deliveries were up 10.1 per cent YoY. 

In terms of market segments, growth was strongest in the wholesale/retail segment with deliveries up 11.4 per cent YoY. Robust growth was also reported in the ready-mix concrete segment, where deliveries increased by 10.5 per cent YoY. However, the off-take by construction companies and contractors was down by 7.1 per cent YoY. 

Output from Colombia’s cement plants advanced by 7.8 per cent YoY to 1.209Mt in November 2025 from 1.121Mt in the year-ago period.

January-November 2025
In the first 11 months of 2025 the Colombian cement market expanded by 4.9 per cent YoY to 11.655Mt from 11.108Mt in the 11M24. Bulk cement dispatches contracted by 1.4 per cent, but deliveries of bagged cement increased by 8.1 per cent YoY.

The wholesale/retail segment saw growth of 11.3 per cent YoY, sufficient to off-set a five per cent contraction in the construction companies and contractors segment and a 2.7 per cent decrease    in the ready-mix concrete segment. 

Domestic production edged up by 3.3 per cent to 12.677Mt in the January-November 2025 period from 12.178Mt in the equivalent period of the previous year.
