Cement consumption in Argentina declined 5.3 per cent YoY to 788,173t in January 2026 from 831,967t in January 2025, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP. 

Demand was entirely supplied by domestic producers, who manufactured 792,873t of cement, down 5.6 per cent YoY from 840,115t in January 2025. 

Exports fell by 44.7 per cent YoY to 4699t in January 2026 from 8493t in the year-ago period.
