Cement consumption in Senegal increased by 8.4 per cent YoY to 595,800t in November 2025 from 549,600t in November 2024, according to the country’s Ministry of Planned Economy and Co-operation.
Domestic production increased by 10.8 per cent YoY to 734,500t from 663,000t in November 2024.
Cement exports from the country surged by 51.8 per cent YoY to 163,400t in November 2025 when compared with 107,600t exported in November 2024.

In the first 11 months of 2025, Senegal’s cement market expanded by 4.2 per cent to 6.741Mt from 6.47Mt in the 11M24.
Output by domestic cement plants picked up by 1.3 per cent YoY to 8.349Mt in the 11M25 from 8.239Mt. Of this total, 1.783Mt was exported in the January-November 2025 period, up 0.6 per cent from 1.773Mt in the equivalent period of the previous year.
