Mangalam Cement reported revenue of INR4.55bn (US$52m) in the first quarter of FY26-27, up 0.8 per cent YoY.

Profit before tax fell 37.9 per cent YoY to INR236.4m, as total operating expenditure increased 6.7 per cent to INR4.02bn. The increase in costs was primarily attributed to inventory adjustments.

Mangalam Cement, part of the BK Birla Group, operates 4.4Mta of cement and 2.67Mta of clinker capacity. It also has a 35MW captive coal-fired power plant at Morak and a 13.65MW wind power facility at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
