Heidelberg Materials has agreed to acquire a 70 per cent stake in Peruvian cement producer Caliza Cemento Inca SA, which trades as Cementos Inka.
Founded in 2007, Cementos Inka employs approximately 270 people and operates two cement grinding plants with a combined capacity of 1.3Mta, alongside two ready-mixed concrete plants. Its production facilities are located near Lima and Pisco, providing access to major markets and ports for importing intermediate materials.
Heidelberg Materials intends to integrate the business with its global trading and production network. The acquisition is described as asset-light because Cementos Inka’s grinding operations depend on imported intermediate products rather than integrated domestic clinker production.
Based on Cementos Inka’s anticipated 2026 EBITDA, the transaction is valued at a multiple of approximately six times. Heidelberg Materials expects it to be accretive to its financial performance from the first year.
The transaction is not subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close by October 2026. The parties have not disclosed the purchase price or other financial terms.
