Vietnam exported 2.95Mt of cement and clinker with a value of US$110m in August 2026, according to the country’s National Statistics Office. Export volumes declined by 11.3 per cent YoY, while their value fell by 10.4 per cent.

Despite the monthly contraction, cumulative exports remained ahead of the previous year. Vietnam shipped 25.49Mt of cement and clinker in the first eight months of 2026, up 10.1 per cent YoY. Export earnings increased by 9.7 per cent to US$951m.

In 2025 Vietnam exported 37.12Mt of cement and clinker, generating revenue of US$1.37bn. This represented annual increases of 25 and 20.8 per cent, respectively.
