Explosions and a fire were reported at the Sebryakovcement plant in Mikhaylovka, Volgograd Oblast, Russia, during the night of 14-15 September 2026.

Ukrainian media outlet Ukrainska Pravda, citing the Exilenova+ and Supernova+ monitoring channels, reported that explosions occurred after missile and drone warnings were issued in the region. Footage circulating online appeared to show smoke rising from the cement works, while some reports placed an explosion near kiln No 5.

Russian local media confirmed that a drone warning was issued at 19.12 and a missile alert at 23.46 on 14 September. However, the regional authorities have not publicly confirmed that the cement plant was struck.

Sebryakovcement, which describes itself as one of Russia’s largest cement producers, had issued no statement on the incident at the time of publication. The extent of any damage, effect on production and reports of casualties remain unconfirmed.
